My sister Naomi, and I started this little non-profit in April of 2008. We believe that to help Tucson's children we've got to support their families. FOMTA provides the goods necessary to raise a family:
Diapers/ Wipes Clothes Cribs/ Beds Car Seats Formula/ Bottles & much much more!
We operate totally on donations from the community. We pick up donations and then take the donations to families. Since we started three months ago we have helped over 50 families and there are many on the waiting list.
In addition, FOMTA wanted to create relationships with other agencies and resources in Tucson to help bridge the gap. Many wonderful people working for a better community have met with us to create better opportunities and resources for our families. We are excited for what the future holds!
